2.1 SUSTAINABLE STANDARDS AND CERTIFICATIONS
| StoneSheets®-AL uses basic materials, stone and aluminum, to redefine the performance ability of stone products. StoneSheets®-AL is made of a 6mm thick solid slab of stone (Marble, Granite, Onyx, Travertine, Sandstone, or Quartzite), which is reinforced with an Aluminum honeycomb panel, traditionally found in aerospace applications. A 4ft x 8ft sheet of StoneSheets®-AL weighs ~160pounds vs. a traditional 2cm slab of the same size, which weigh ~600pounds and require more transportation, fabrication, and handling resources. StoneSheets-AL provides consistent support from edge to edge, and integrates products by providing a recyclable substrate material, Aluminum. Our products reduce the impact of construction and provide a multitude of other benefits from the resources saved by the strength and light weight of the material alone. |

We would like to have more performance tests and data for our materials, and welcome any opportunity to have any of your excellent staff review this, or any of our other materials. We are often hearing of new uses for StoneSheets®-AL, such as signs, ship and yachts; our material is increasing the performance ability of stone.
2.3 SUSTAINABLE COMPOSITION OF PRODUCT
| List the primary materials in a representative sample of the reported product. (List actual material - not trade name) | |||||||
1. 6mm thick Stone Slab(Marble, Granite, Onyx, Travertine, Sandstone, or Quartzite of Choice) 2. 12mm thick Aluminum honeycomb panel
StoneSheets-AL begins with the stone in the block position, securing the panel to the block and then cutting the panel off of the block, maximizing the use of the stone. The substrate of the product is made of Aluminum, and often integrates products, contributing to a reduced impact of construction and demolition, and eliminating the need for processed wood substrates of tradtional 2cm.
| Does the product contain any California Proposition 65 chemicals? | Yes No | |
| Is the MSDS and/or a list of toxics available on company website? | Yes No |
We put "No Response" for the EPA PBTs question because we could not find an exact list. StoneSheets-AL is non-toxic and can be applied with non-toxic setting materials or mechanical clips.
| Does the product contain any recycled content material? | Yes No | ||||||||
We have been examining different certification standards, but we are looking for a standard reflective of the life cycle, resource, and energy savings vs. a recycled content certificate which technically changes each time metal is purchased for the smelter. There is significant resource savings and other attributes which are more consistent and accurate measurer StoneSheets-AL's benefits.
| Does the product consist of essentially a salvaged, refurbished, or reused material? | Yes No | ||||||||
This product is non-toxic and can be applied with non-toxic setting materials, or mechanical clips.

Manufacturer Comments
Our products use simple materials, stone and aluminum, to create high performing, long life cycle materials that can be used for nearly all stone designs. StoneSheets®-AL features the ultra strong properties of the honeycomb, as found in nature, strength of the superior structural support and a high percentage of open air space, creating a lightweight, high performing material, requiring 66% less shipping!

| Raw materials or components are too numerous, are sourced from too wide a region, or are too dispersed for a meaningful answer. | Yes No | ||||||||
| What approximate percent of materials and/or assemblies by weight are sourced from ISO 14001 certified suppliers? | |||||||
don't know
| How has the company worked with suppliers on reducing the environmental footprint of your supply chain? | |||||||
StoneSheets, as well as all our materials, are made from the block position, limiting the movement of the stone in slab form, reducing breakage, while the design of the material itself, conserves the stone required. We routinely purchase recycled aluminum and ship full containers, 1/3 of the requirement or more or 2cm stone, and never leaving any blank space or short loads. We offer our products to residential contractors also, to decrease blank load space.
All materials are used in the manufacturing of StoneSheets-AL. The trimmings of the panels are recycled, and the blocks are entirely used. The parts of the blocks that are not used for the slab portions of StoneSheets-AL are used for accessory pieces and smaller items for other industries, like lamp finials. The remaining stone is crushed for stone mastic or marble fill, maximizing the use of the block.
3.3 MANUFACTURING
| What is the company's specified goal for reducing energy consumption? | |||||||||
We are working with a company that manufactures advanced solar technology, assisting in the coordination of energy assessments at the factories so that benefits can be determined. That is the only way to first prove the value of the investment, but there is a plan to update energy sources.
What steps has the company taken to reduce energy consumption of the manufacturing process?
Our company practices responsible business practices, using recycled papers for the office, and minimizing printing requirements by providing our marketing materials firstly in the form of pdf vs. traditional print. Our sales truck runs on E-85 for our presentations that have travelled to increase the exposure to StoneSheets-AL and our other products.
| What is the company's specified goal for GHG reduction? | |||||||||
We are looking to create an accurate assessment of the total GHG reduction that our products contribute, but the numbers vary based on the parameters of each project and the amount of materials used. The decreased shipping requirements are significant, and that is prior to any additional assessment of resources saved during the fabrication or installation process. Even the 500 mile suggestion provided within LEED accounts for several fabrication and transportation steps able to be avoided with the use of StoneSheets-AL
| Does the company report greenhouse gas emissions? | Yes No | ||||||||
| What is the company's specified goal for reducing potable water use? | |||||||||
The water used at the factories is considered "dirty water, and is not used for drinking. Water is circulated throughout the system for use for processing.
What steps have been taken to reduce potable water consumption of the manufacturing process?
The machines that are able to cut the blocks are advanced equipment that uses the water efficiently to cool the machines and process the stones. Hoses are not abundantly scattered throughout the factory, as in tradtional hand saw construction with 2cm or 3cm slabs.
| What is the company's specified goal for reducing solid waste? | |||||||||
All of the material from the blocks are used. Smaller finnials, stone mastic, or other uses occupy every portion of the stone, so that none is wasted. Aluminum is put into scrap areas for recycling; all materials are used.
What steps has the company taken to reduce solid-waste created from the manufacturing process?

break stone off and recycle panel or use for other purposes
StoneSheets-AL consists of simple materials, stone and aluminum. If the installation is performed using clips, or another removable application, the material can be reused. If demolition occurs, or pieces are recut from the existing materials, the stone can be broken off the front with a hammer and the panel can be recycled.
