Description:
Battic Door Energy Conservation Products introduces the Whole House Attic Fan Insulation Shutter Seals and Covers for Energy Star Home and Green Building Contractors.
The Battic Door Whole House Attic Fan Ceiling Shutter Seal is an energy-saving insulating seal for Whole House Attic Fans. It reduces air-leakage through the whole house attic fan saving the homeowner heating and cooling loss and energy costs.
The Battic© Door Whole House Attic Fan Ceiling Shutter Seal is easily installed over the fan louver from the house side in the fall and removed in the spring.
By reducing the amount of heat and moisture leaking into your attic, the severity of ice dams and attic mold is greatly reduced!

Battic Door Energy Conservation Products manufactures and distributes low-cost, high-value, energy conservation products for the SIX largest overlooked "holes" in the house:
The pull-down attic stairs, the whole house fan and A/C return, the fireplace, the clothes dryer exhaust duct, the bathroom exhaust fan duct, and the attic access door hatch.
By sealing these "holes", air leaks, cold drafts, and wasted energy are reduced. The products work year 'round by reducing cold drafts and heat loss in the winter, as well as air-conditioning loss in the summer.
The products conserve energy, lower your utility bills, reduce noise and pollutants, improve indoor air quality, reduce the chance of ice dams and attic mold, and improve the comfort of your home. Contractors preferred supplier, the products are available direct to customers by mail order, also available in bulk to builders, weatherization contractors, and distributors.

Are any hazardous chemicals created, used, or released during the manufacture of the product which must be reported under the State Right to Know Act (SARA), Section 313 via the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI)? (The absence of hazardous chemicals or air pollutants in manufacture is laudable. However the presence of such hazards is not a simple indicator of environmental impact. Which listed hazards are present, how they are handled, the magnitude of emissions, and the extent and effectiveness of efforts to minimize creation, use, and releases of such hazards, are all important in assessing environmental responsibility. While it can be problematic to try to compare the performance of different companies, a record of TRI releases by company found on the EPA website allows review of a single company over time. http://www.epa.gov/enviro/html/tris/tris_query.html) |
