| Accessories: Identify accessory items (adhesives, fasteners, tapes, etc.) required to install product and describe in the comment field any impact on the sustainable performance of the product. | |||||||
|
Studs are screw-attached to slotted track through slots, allowing vertical movement but preventing lateral movement. Slotted track construction substitutes for double-track head of wall joint construction and reduces requirements for bridging and strapping members in metal stud walls.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION4.1 Stewardship • 4.2 Transparency of Information • Manufacturer Comments
4.1 Stewardship
| Please describe what Design-for-Environment (DfE) strategies were used in design of this product (including such practices as dematerialization, and design-for-disassembly), company-wide approach to DfE, and other aspects that you feel exemplify commitment but have not been quantified elsewhere in this form. | |||||||
|
Slotted track is designed on the principle of dematerialization. It eliminates the need for nested double top tracks and reduces or eliminates the need for bridging and strapping members. System is also designed for disassembly. Slotted tracks are undamaged when fasteners are unscrewed, so members can be reused if partitions need to be reconfigured. System's efficient installation reduces energy required on site for installation, by reducing the numbers of members and fasteners required.
